Hello wonderful Souls,

Thank you for being here. I am so grateful for both your interest and support of my endeavours.

Life is a series of journeys and for the past 20 something years I been writing, researching and curating them constantly, but I've done little sharing... until now.

There is no greater fun to be had on this Earth for me (outside navigating life with Mini Me) than hanging out with my characters, fully immersed in their every moment.

In fact, I prefer hanging out with them than most others.

the social health labs and creative projects they have birthed.

That being said,  I feel truly blessed to know you are being brave by venturing with me on this journey organically, on the page and in reel-time; without ever really knowing what's coming next. A storyline, reflecting all the synergies and antagonisms of our multi-dimensional selves.

Rest assured, some of what I talk about at The Living Centre (TLC) will challenge you.

I guarantee there will be moments of discomfort - BIG ONES!

I just pray you have the wear withall to brave the stoms - because what I say will make you feel uncomfortable to the point where running away seems too slow or worse still you'll try to dismiss the insights as 'gibberish 'Woo Woo''.

So when these inevitable moments arise, I want you to take a breath and remember why you are here in the first place: because you know me to be a good person, with a kind heart, a ferocious sense of loyalty and a curiosity about life, love and living that has stumped you into a head scratch on more than one occasion.

We know, I've never fitted neatly into a box.

Sure, I've been schooled in the social systems of etiquette, business, politics and education. Subsequently I've been adorned with many labels.

But those labels aren't me.

They aren't the little girl who begged God to make her 'normal' like all the other kids.

It's taken me the best part of 40 years to step back into the shoes of that little girl - the one who didn't know how she knew, just that she did.

Like the time her cousins from the country came to stay for the school holidays. When they were leaving mum asked me what was wrong. I told her Jimmy was going to die. He was 15 years old. A week later his brothers pulled his lifeless body from under an overturned tractor.

Or the time when my brother's favourite rugby coach's son went missing and I told mum where they'd find him.

I believe our job here on Earth is to Learn How 2 LOVE - firstly ourselves and then those around us.

My mother was raised fundamentalist Catholic, Dad converted to marry her and within less than 9 months, my older sister was born. That was 1967. The same year Dad went on his first Australian tour, Mum, a 5th generation educator became a mum and the HSC was introduced into NSW high schools.

In our house, a Daily practice was sports-based.

I had a magical childhood in a wonderful community on Sydney's upper north shore. It was privileged - and featured well-intentioned, hard working men and women where respect was taught, discipline featured and manners taught daily by parents who were PRESENT and showcased CONNECTION in being there physically, socially, emotionally and mentally with and for their children. So that we grew up knowing we were important and worthy of their attention - even if it was to be yelled at for doing something wrong!

Can you say the same thing about how you turn up for your kids...?

As parents, we always do the best we can in the moment. Sometimes that's enough, but often times it doesn't even come close. And if you have a child like mine, they'll tell you! And that's our prviledge as parents - the opportunity for feedback. self-reflection and conscious connection.

That's why I've created the ConnectEd
